What makes Club Med and this resort unique?
Club Meds are all-inclusive resorts, but are geared towards sports/wellness and families. Like other all-inclusive resorts, they provide everything you need on site - food, drink, accommodation, activities - so that you never have to leave the resort unless you want to take an excursion.
The various rooms and suites also keep families (and others) front and centre. For instance, Club Med Charlevoix offers its Superior Family Room - Mountain Side with a separate bedroom for two kids.
And the activities ensure that you definitely won't get bored! Separate kids' clubs catering to toddlers right up to 17-year-olds ensure that your children are spending time with their peers, busy with age-appropriate activities. That frees you up for couples-only or me-time, at the spa, in the great outdoors, or enjoying a drink by the pool. And when the family spends time together, you'll have a full range of things to do - some that may even be beyond your comfort zone! Circus school, anyone?! And if you do venture off the resort, you can explore historic Quebec City, go whale-watching, and enjoy other excursions together.
Summer Special
Club Med Charlevoix has gained a well-earned reputation as a winter getaway for those who like the snow. But it has just as much to offer in the summertime. To better acquaint you with all that you can enjoy at this resort, Club Med has a summer vacation promotion on now - but you must book by March 5 and travel by August 29. The sooner you book, the more likely you are to find availability.
Here's an example of the cost for a family of four (2 kids between the ages of 4 and 11) staying in a Superior Family Room - Mountain Side from June 28-July 5. (Of course, you can stay for a shorter or longer period.) The current discounted price is $5941.18 for the week. Here's what that includes:
- Accommodation
- Full board with drinks included
- Open bar and all-day snacks
- More than 60 sports and activity options
- Day and night entertainment
- Wifi
- Annual fee (Club Med charges an annual "club membership" fee. It's $180 for this family of four.)
- Taxes and fees
What isn't included is transportation. You could drive, fly or take the train. We can provide you with information and pricing.
You'll be asked to make a 25% payment when you book your reservation. The balance is due 45 days before your departure date. If you cancel at least 61 days prior to departure, there is no cancellation fee. After that, there is a fee that increases as you get closer to your departure date. If you cancel within 14 days of your departure date, the fee is 100%.
